Looking for advice
I'm considering Chapter 7 but unsure if I would qualify. I live in Maryland and currently make around $115k gross. I am unmarried but do have a live-in boyfriend who is dependent on me. I'm currently in a debt consolidation program (I have a spending problem) and give about $612/month for that plus $850/month to two other maxxed out credit cards that were not part of that program. I owe back taxes (about $3k) and medical bills (about 2k) from an emergency surgery this past September. I have student loans coming that will likely be around $1k a month. Rent, car, utilities and living expenses eat up the rest of my income minus around $700 each paycheck. I'm lost on what to do and really feel like I'm drowning as my car is on it's last leg and I have no real means to repair it or extend life. Any advice is appreciated.
