So i used to play a game called Guardian Tales, which unfortunately is a highly p2w mobile gacha, however, there are some aspects from it which i like:

• There is a lot of characters with different play styles, like characters who focuses on the secondary ability (kind of an ultimate), characters who are tanky or really fast, characters who teleport away or even characters that focuses on sniping enemies

• Each hero gives a certain bonus to your party (+50% melee damage, 80% ranged defense, 50% elemental damage, 30% skill recharge rate), which made the master arena mode, in which you pick heroes one at a time really fun to try and predict your opponent pick while also focusing on your party buffs.

• The game normally is a real time action game, but there is also the colosseum mode in which you place a party in your tiles to defend you, while also choosing from your party pool to attack the other players defenses. With the game having elemental advantages, thinking of a strategy is really cool.

• You could build characters in various specific ways with acessories, but could change them anytime... for example you could focus on an accessory with skill recharge and skill damage, or on a tanky accessory if you already have a party member that gives +30% skill regen, or you could either choose between one accessory that gives more damage when the enemy is at > 60% health or one accessory that gives more damage when the enemy is at <60% health.

• It was really customizable in fun ways, for example you could take Vishuvac which is a fire type hero that teleports and build her with skill damage plus Mayreel weapon, which is an earth type one, but with a really strong and fast skill, so even losing the elemental damage boost, you could teleport around in the arena to dodge and do a big damage with your skill.

However the game have some of the most stupid designs ever, where even cosmetics give bonus stats to whales, and every two weeks there is a new hero who you need to get in the gacha, who also give general stat bonuses if you upgrade it. The game do feels like a chore with constant grind, and even so you're always behind, It is impossible to catch up as a new player, if you face a whale, you lose. So i've been looking for other games that fit at least some of the criteria i mentioned before!
