What is the most effective and fast way to upgrade Prototype gear augments? (not sure of some of the mechanics)

Do the Augments just level from the same regular XP that we get?

In other words, if we farm the National Bond Armory mission, would that be a fast way to level Augments?

For the typical Striker build Do you think it’s worth running 100% Echo pieces for Tier 10 Escalation, or do you think mixing in 1 or 2 other augments is smarter?

Since every piece of Echo provides diminishing returns, does it make sense to add some other augments?

Is there a way to add one piece or mod or something to a Striker build to make it self sustaining?

Without having to build an entirely new set of Striker, is there one small thing I could do to have a sustaining Striker build for solo missions, farming, Retaliations, etc?

Has the developer said they will allow Prototype Cores to be considered a material and be shared among characters?

It’s annoying to have to switch between characters to deal with Core usage.

The Stack Broker is a weapon I hear about and know was in previous Stretch Goals caches but not in the current Blossom event caches.

Is there anything else good?

I'm not sure if there is some trick to it, but I've leveled and prototyped over 30 assault rifles and never received a double (or triple) stat maximum.

I've seen the damage number maxxed, or the other two stats maxxed individually, but never beyond one.

I wonder if there is some trick to it, or just very bad RNG.

Assuming you are rolling a Frenzy LMG with Critical Hit Chance as the third slot, you can prototype in the following ways:

- LMG Damage starts at 15% and prototypes to 22.5%

- Damage to Targets Out of Cover (DTTOOC) starts at 12% and prototypes to 17%

- Critical Hit Chance starts at 9.5% and prototypes to 14.5%

You get one of those upgrades when you prototype. (assuming you don't get the incredibly rare double upgrade).

So, which one is usually the most beneficial? (assuming you can get Crit chance from mods, so you aren't desperate for it)
