Getting feedback when recording guitars can be annoying as hell. Sometimes you stumble into a happy accident but other times you are just screeching uncontrollably trying to find that note you can pull out of your guitar every time you practice but no luck in the studio. I've seen it all, bring a high gain amp and 4x12 into the room, a really loud single speaker etc.

I imagine there are a bunch of good and quite different answers to this question as there are probably quite a few tips and hacks on how to hit those sweet spots without piercing everyone's eardrums for hours trying to nail those bits. Spill the beans my friends!!
