The easiest GEO test might be tracking questions, not rankings

I think a lot of GEO work is going to look less like “rank for this keyword” and more like “show up as a useful citation for this exact question.”

One simple test: take 10 buyer-intent questions your customers actually ask, then check whether your site answers each one in a clean, quotable paragraph. Not a 2,000 word page. Just a direct answer with enough context that a model can lift it without guessing.

Example: instead of optimizing a page around “local SEO pricing,” write a section that answers “what should a small business expect to pay for local SEO in the first 90 days?” with a real range, caveats, and what changes the price.

Curious if people here are tracking question coverage yet, or still mostly watching classic rankings?
