Second time’s the charm

After I saw the Keith David and Terran Armada trailers, I got very hyped and interested to redownload Starfield and see what’s changed.

However, my old vanilla save was completely gone, so I had to start from scratch. BUT! This was kind of a blessing in disguise, because I was able to go to the creations menu, spend WAY too much money on mods and after about an hour and a half of troubleshooting and restarting again, I got the ball rolling…

…and I’m actually really enjoying it! The ability to actually travel through different systems and walk around my ship whilst waiting to reach my destination is amazing.

I have…SO many weapon mods that I don’t even know what to choose anymore. I have the fat man launcher, two different crossbows, a bullpup M82, an explosive shotgun that makes Terrormorphs a joke, an smg that deletes whole squads with one mag of 26 rounds, a railgun that negates any armour, plasma rifles, infinite warfare weapons, makeshift weapons held together by the will of John Moses Browning, The Golden Gun, a Desert Eagle and now a custom magstorm from a crazed Mantis impersonator that sounds like thunder

I have NEVER been more satisfied with a mod than both Trackers alliance and Falkland systems. Every bounty mission was really cool and interesting, the rewards were mostly worth it…

… (the villa has a glitched table and it’s making debate weather or not i should wait for a fix before building in it)

And the characters were actually interesting. Reading about the Vulture and listening to the audio logs actually invested me in the character, which makes me really happy I spared him after I found out he can join you on a mission and provide sniper fire. Agent 1 was mysterious and cool, yet surprisingly nice instead of standoffish. And Hannibal was a fun character, and despite duping me (even though I knew he was Hannibal) I spared him since he just stole ships and actually gave me a way to get off the station

Meanwhile Falkland systems has the most GORGEOUS ship habs I’ve ever seen in this game! Fuck spending 1000 credits on “luxury habs” I’m out here with my now C-class Star Wars ship with handcrafted details and beautiful interiors!

I haven’t really done much of the main questline. I just got Andreja with me after I finished the last bounty mission and only recently downloaded “The Gangs All Here” mod, so now I’m running around with my wife Sarah, best mate Sam, Andreja and Bennet, and I cannot WAIT to have Delta tag along with the group!

I’ve done the Ranger quest-line and am planning on doing the Ryujin quest-line next because the UC quest-line is WAY more interesting than the brain rotted Starborn goons going through the same loop over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over an-you get the point, for more power because reasons.

I’ve downloaded a few quest mods, like the Veil, Vigilance, Watchtower and other mods I forgot so I could see what stories the amazing modding community have made, and after completing trackers alliance and Vigilance, I’m very excited!
