I am writing a fantasy book. Traditionally that means chapters, not acts and scenes. I want to give each scene an effective amount of information , and screenplays go scene by scene and not chapter by chapter which i think adds more detail and focus. However i don't want my story to "Feel blocky" or lacking in transitions. What do you think about this. I've never heard it be done before, and I'm worried my book will be formatted weirdly.
