So we have a moisture problem we are below ground first level so out our bedroom window it’s basically ground up to our chest. So when it rains, I think the wetness comes in through the cement cracks and into our closet because our other bedroom closet isn’t as bad but if u put clothes on the floor for a week it will reek like mildew. But my kids bedroom?? So much worse! Anything u put on ground….it will grow mold. U can’t put toys in there, it will grow mold. I don’t know how to approach my manager with the situation because they just dont fix the problem. The first time we complained they just put it a humidifier to get wetness out and replaced the carpet cuz it smelled like mold so bad. That didn’t help. Mold came back after rain. Now they cut a piece of wall out and yet again put the humidifier in again for a few days. What can I tell them and how to tell them that I want the old wood replaced and everything sealed so moisture can’t get in anymore but that means the whole closet has to get ripped out and I’m afraid all they are going to do is seal the closet drywall back up and call it a day? My kids wake up with stuffy noses every day. They stopped sleeping in their rooms and sleep with us now. This is insane. We pay for 2 bedrooms and we can’t even use it properly.
I can’t move out until next year, saving up currently.I have no extra funds to just find a place and pay first and last month and deposit so it’s not really possible. I really just want it fixed.
