I am still in the process of writing this, it is my first ever book but I couldn't stop thinking about it ever since watching Heeramandi and I am finally going for it. Yes, it is inspired by Heeramandi, set in a similar world and time-- with the daughter of a courtesan who rebels and is making plans of running away from her present, and a cold British army officer who is obsessed with her since the first time he saw her.
