Hello everyone, im a 297 partner, currently an SSV and I am reaching my breaking point. Our store has had 3 different SM's in the past 3 years, with our current one being an external hire. Our turnover has been consistently high. Morale is at an all time low. When things start getting better, couple months later everything starts falling apart again. Our new SM asked us in a shift meeting what brings us joy in our job and we all looked at each other and didn't know what to say. I guess my coworkers and pay/benefits, but its starting to not feel like enough or worth it. I'm the only partner at my store who has been at starbucks that long and I genuinely don't know what's keeping me here. It seems like most of the people I talk to hate the job and only stay because they're tied to the benefits like ASU. Besides pay and benefits is there any other reasons why you guys still work at starbucks?
