Hi folks,

I’m looking for some advice on a car to help me buy for my mum.

She’s turning 70 soon and has been dealing with joint pain, especially in her left knee, so I’m thinking an automatic would suit her better now.

At the moment she drives a Golf, but it’s quite low and she has to bend a lot to get in and out, which is getting harder for her.

I’m hoping to find something:

• Easier to get in/out of (a bit higher up)
• Petrol or hybrid
• Under €20k
• Car will be used for short runs to the shops etc/ occasional trips along the M50.

Any recommendations or experiences would be really appreciated!
