I just started this series last week on a whim and I’m almost done with Flowers of Esthelm. I’m stunned by how this series manages to catch me off guard a few times every volume. How I can get worked up, emotional, at the moments of wonder, joy, sadness, action. It’s not what I was expecting at all, but I’m glad for it. I don’t remember the last time I was so invested in a series.
