I know it's only a day after the due date, however a few days after lending I found out he is a serial scammer on Reddit and today I found out via another UNPAID post that he had taken a loan with another lender here sometime last month.

I went and looked again just to make sure I didn't actually miss anything during my initial checks. However, even after finding out he had taken a loan with another lender I searched on multiple engines and still couldn't find a prearranged post or any comments by the lender on the post.

At this point I know it looks like it's me, but I promise I'm doing as best diligence as I can before lending.

User u/Possible_Map_4532 had already been banned from Reddit an hour or two ago.

I'm assuming for scamming people. He was getting people to sign up for things like Kalshi. He then convinced the victim to get their log in to make the required deposit to earn the bonus by connecting one of his cards but then would withdraw the sign up bonus from the victims account for himself.

Even though it hasn't been 5 days, I think it's safe to say he won't be repaying me

Borrower u/Careful_Diet_8192 had failed to disclose that they had already been funded by a lender here. Despite me checking post history, the lender had made the prearranged post so I missed it. Partly my fault, but the borrower knew what they were doing. Gave an extension because borrower stated their card was locked by their bank. It's been two days since last contact.

User is already banned after defaulting with first lender. User has also hidden posts and comments since making this post

Borrower u/Chan0ox seemed like a good guy. Said he deposited cash but it's been on hold since Sunday, which doesn't make sense to me. He hasn't personally been in contact with me for a few days. Not hopeful things will be resolved.

So far lending has not been a good experience for me. Attempting to recover funds.

I should have known. u/MunificentDouglas was a request for $25 and repay the next day. I loaned it to them but he said it got eaten up by Cash App borrow. I asked him exactly what did you think would happen with a borrow balance? He still owed $33 and I felt bad so I sent more.

He got the pre arranged post format wrong, mods took it down but I already sent the fund. Of course less than an hour of sending the funds he ghosted me and never confirmed on the pre arranged post I ended up having to make. Anyways. Lesson learned I guess.

Disputed with Cash App..I'm not hopeful I'll get my money back but we'll see.

I don't know if user will come to confirm. He had made a pre arranged post when I sent the funds, but he tagged me in the body instead of the title. Mods had to delete original post because format wasn't correct. I attempted to contact the borrower as soon as the mods took down the original prearranged post to make a new one, however, the user won't respond to me about making a new post. We are now late 1 day la te, so I don't think he'll be confirming this post but wanted to record that I loaned him on the 30th.

Please, if anybody has contact with him, he's late with both loans with me. I sent additional funds because the first $25 went straight to his borrow balance. He thought he could withdrawal immediately and I felt bad he couldn't use the funds I sent.

All in all my mistake and I won't be doing that again. At the very least, I just want him to confirm the loan and I can work with him on repayment at a later date.

I just want to thank u/logistix1 and u/sk0genn for helping me along the way while I had to borrow through a tough time while I was in between work. I recently got a good job and am now able to lend here! I love being part of this community.
