Poli and Faculty of Arts: Where do you go to complaint?

I need real advice.. I took a poli class this winter and my TA never answered my emails. I was basically asking simple questions about the assignments since there were no grading rubrics provided. When I confronted them about it, they said that they don’t check their emails and they have too much work to do… I also emailed the prof, and he didn’t get back to me after more than 5 weeks, and he only answered because I wrote a follow up. The grading was inconsistent, and basically was contradicting the provided instructions (Instructions: X is strongly discouraged, comment: You didn’t do X.) Throughout the course, no grading rubrics were ever provided, and TA’s each graded completely differently. We were only given advice from the prof, which was different from the TA’s. What McGill’s policy could help me here?

POLI227: Winter 26

I wanna know if I’m the only one who never gets an answer when writing emails to the prof or the TAs?
Also, why is the grading so different from one TA to another? I switched TAs because mine left and now I’m graded sm more harshly. I thought this was supposed to be an enjoyable class, maybe I’m the only one having a hard time. Thoughts?
