I have an option between a cheap government aided institute affiliated with aktu and a more expensive private university without aktu. Placements are shit in both of the colleges. The private university is having its first graduation this year in btech. I am going to pursue masters immediately after btech so placements don’t matter to me. I cannot leave hometown due to family issues so these are my only two options. The private university has a good campus too. I hear it has strict 75% attendance but aktu has it too. What would you say? Is not going to am aktu affiliated college worth it for more price?

I just gave jee. I can get cse core based on my rank and previous year cutoff. I have 1.8lakh rank. I can also get other colleges like gl bajaj but i have heard that it is strict. I am kinda working on something so i don’t want to invest almost all my time in the college like if it has very strict attendance policy or something. What about the academics. How difficult are they? Are the papers made and checked by aktu or they are done in the college themselves? Should i consider any other college or is this good enough? Also if anyone knows what are the prices of single room pg near the college?
