Hi folks,
I am on search for some decent trading software. I am currently using Quantower, but they dont fully support IBKR (so I cant set OCO order) and also have some minor flaws like trades sometimes not showing on the chart (supposedly because of order being filled on different exchange) or just the fact, that the trade symbols arent connected with a line (in combination with the first problem its quite annoying, cause you cant be sure if you was entering or exiting). If there is someone trading equities over Quantower without any issues, please drop some tips.
I have been also trading on MedvedTrader, ThinkOrSwim, TWS, Sterling Pro, IBKR Desktop and tried very shortly Motivewave, unfortunately all having their own flaws. I am considering NinjaTrader (or maybe SierraChart), but I would like to hear your recommendation or personal experience with any of your favorite trading platform.
My must haves are:
- Chart trading - ability to set my SL or TP with a drag and drop (TradingView probably leading here)
- Support of server-sided OCO orders for a US equities broker
- Daily account performance monitor (ideally a chart, or any other graphic representation)
Nice haves:
- Automatic position sizing based on account equity
- Competitive pricing model for these basic features
Here an example of on account performance monitor. I have seen NinjaTrader should have something similar, but it looked like it is not rendered live, rather like on demand.
