i’m 18f, 5’1 and i weigh roughly 148lbs. i’ve gained 30+ in the last year or so. i really, really want to lose weight, but i’m not sure where to start. my end goal is 90-95lbs.

i’m in the process of finding a gym to workout at, and i am going to try and eat healthier, or at least better than what i am, but it’s just.. hard.

i was thinking to start by running on a treadmill for an hour, 3-5 days a week, walking more in general, and cutting back on my portions. i will try to eat more protein and fibre, and eat healthier, more balanced meals, but my living situation isn’t ideal, and i can’t cook, so that’s why i’m thinking i should just cut back on the portions & eat more fruits and vegetables, for now.

is this a good plan? is there anything else i should be doing? i mean, i think there is, but i don’t know much about this sort of thing. i’m also lazy, have no motivation, and i often give in. i mainly eat out of boredom, and i’ll say i won’t order more food, but i end up doing exactly that. i’ll often eat 2100+ calories in one sitting. i hate myself for doing this, and i want to change.

please, if you have any advice/tips, do share! 🙏 - also, sorry for the mega long post
