Crush in a red dress
Hello peeps! Usually I end up googling the meaning of my dreams and try to make sense out of it, and somewhat end up with a satisfying answer, but today’s was one where I couldn’t find an answer to, so that’s why I’m here. Please help!
In my dream, I was walking through the corridors of my high school (I’ve only gone to one throughout my entire childhood). It was during recess, so there were children in the corridors and they were running, talking, and some were sitting in their classrooms reading too. Occasionally I turn to my side and see that a random kid is engaging in a conversation with me, and I keep nodding my head as if I’m listening to them.
Suddenly I see my childhood friend (she was my crush for a long time), wearing a beautiful red dress walking up the stairs. She stood out very much also because our school uniforms were a mix of white and gray. As I walked down the stairs, I noticed her and said “Hey (let’s call her Pinky) Pinky”! She definitely heard me, but she decided to ignore me and keep walking. I felt a little sad, but I thought to myself, let me find her again and see what happens.
Then it felt like I was walking around searching for her. I came across her again, and this time I made sure she heard me. I repeated the same thing, and this time I caught her shoulder so she can look at me. She completely ignores me, and she keeps walking ahead. This kept on happening like a couple more times. I also started using words like ‘please’, and ‘look at me’, but to no avail. The next time it happened, I started walking with her and almost started crying. I kept saying things like “Pinky, we’re friends. Why aren’t you answering me? Please tell me!”
Then she looks at me, smiles, and repeatedly says, “I have to go”. And then she starts walking away from me. I then wander the whole school looking for her, and I couldn’t find her again. And then I woke up.
Would appreciate any help on this. Just want to know what it means. Thank ya!
