I’m a 34-year-old woman with no health issues in the US and I just finished my first egg freezing process. I spent 8k on the procedure and ended with only four eggs.

It was an incredibly draining process and I am devastated I’ll probably have to do it again. I have no idea why I only ended with four eggs when I’m incredibly healthy and have no notable fertility issues.

I did 225 of Follistim for seven days, triggered on my seventh day. I did 12 units of HCG at night as well and Ganirelix in the mornings.

I was originally told they saw 11 eggs, but turns out my eggs in my left ovary were not usable.

I’m pretty disappointed by the whole process. If anyone has any advice or positivity, I’d kindly welcome it.

UPDATE: My AMH was 1.37 ng/mL.
