Titanium band help

Hi all. Rough on watches, tough job. I wanted a hardass G-shock, and I've had alot that have failed. No dying near RADARs, no resin band disintegrating, no plastic watch body, etc. Bluetooth not allowed at work.

So, I got a steel GW-5000 and bought an aftermarket titanium band/cover. Cool.

Good news: The titanium band doesn't suck.
Bad news: The pins in the band are cheap. They barely have purchase in each link - the nipples are tiny. Thus, links come loose over time as the pins fail.

Question: Any creative solution on pin replacement with something that has more purchase?
