I have finished Lord of the Rings on my second try. And I must say it has been one hell of a journey.

I am not really good with descriptions of places and directions in general. So, I read this along with Atlas of Middle Earth.

I can say that it definitely helped a lot to understand the journey of the Fellowship and others. And to visualise the battle scenes.

I have started going through the appendix of the book and found references to other books by JRR Tolkien.

Do you have any suggestions for the same?

Books similar to LOTR as well as books in the same world
