Hello guys, I'm 18yo doing CA inter. I'm not pursuing any college degrees. I wanted to do ba economics followed by CFA. But due to parental pressure I'm left with no choice but CA as the only choice.
I was hoping upon completion of this course. I could do CFA.
But CFA has eligibility criteria
- A college degree
Or
- 4000 professional hours
I recently read here (r/CharteredAccountants) that the articleship period does not count towards work experience.
I'm left wondering if I could do CFA after this.
Also I read that IGNOU in conjunction with ICAI is offering bcom accounting & finance. But they are not allowing me to pursue this saying "It will distract you"
Help me. Tell me. What do I do? Pls, don't tell me to quit CA
