Queer Spirituality - Please share
I understand Dharma is generally accepting of diversity and sexuality, but also it can still be hard to find spiritual connections in romantic in the community and especially in relationships.
Sometimes visibility is a huge issue. And sometimes there’s such an overemphasis on the sexual stuff that it’s hard to get to the deeper layers (especially among us gay men)
My question is how do you identify spiritually? Is there anyone here who would consider themselves devout in the more traditional sense of having deeper daily practices and Sadhana?
If so, can you please talk about your experiences trying to balance sincere spiritual seeking with also wanting to embody your sexual identity. And share any stories to help get the conversation flowing.
