Little tangent. If you’re a listing agent and someone asks if it’s ok to film a quick social media post about your listing, I honestly don’t understand why you’d turn it down. It’s free marketing, and more exposure usually means a better chance the house sells. I just asked mind you an owner/agent if I could do a quick video on their house which is vacant and they decided not to allow it. I’m trying to wrap my head around why anyone would say no to extra exposure for their own listing. Ok im done now.
Edit: Respectfully, that “IG/YouTube won’t sell the house” take is outdated. Social video absolutely moves inventory I literally bought my home because an agent’s walkthrough popped up in my feed (I already had my own agent, but that video is what got me to the property). More exposure = more showings/offers, which helps the listing. I only film with written seller/listing approval, clearly state “not the listing agent” + credit brokerage/MLS, so whats the problem??
