Next year I'll be graduating with a BS in biomedical sciences and a minor in health sciences. My early intentions with this were to go to grad school and eventually participate in research in neuroscience. Since then, I've lost some needed motivation for that field. Not to mention my profile is not nearly competitive enough to secure a good program in those fields. Bioinformatics sounds interesting to me, and I wonder what it would look like to pursue that after undergrad. I don't have much experience programming or in data analysis, so I've considered looking into a master's that either covers bioinformatics itself or taking some additional courses and trying to pursue an MS in data science/stats/cs. I know none of this is conventional, but the future of many fields looks bleak rn, and I wanna consider whatever is out there. Or if you have any other fields you think I may enjoy, feel free to lmk
