Hi all
I have used the Metrorail southern line extensively. I am now looking to take the train from the CBD to Bellville. As far as I'm aware, the trains themselves are generally safe across lines. I was considering taking the Northern or Monte Vista Line. However, I have heard Bellville station is not safe outside the station. Therefore I am considering using either the Oostersee station or the Tygerberg station. Any thoughts of this? Anyone who uses these lines regularly? I will look at using lines between 14:00 and 15:00.
Eventually, I would also like to use the train to get to Stellenbosch and Strand, perhaps as the line speeds get upgraded. Is there anywhere where I can see the progress of this?
