NEED URGENT ADVICE - BREAKING UP FROM TOXICITY AND MIGHT BE HOMELESS SOON

I’ve been in a relationship for 6 years, and we have two children together. My partner has long struggled with trust issues, often suspecting I’m too friendly with women—whether at work or elsewhere. Even if I’m just being myself, she often reads it as flirtatious.

Yesterday, I took a nap after work. Our apartment manager—who’s a single mom of three—knocked while I was asleep. My partner answered. When I woke up, I went to take out the trash, and the manager, seeing I was up, asked if I could help fix a piece of her dash cam. It was around 10 PM, but I helped quickly. My partner knew, but she ended up locking the door, telling our kids not to let me in, saying it was disrespectful to help another woman at that time.

I’ve thought about leaving in the past, but when I do, she says I’m destroying the family and uses our kids as leverage. After arguments, she expects me to apologize and fix things, even though they often stem from jealousy.

Given all this, how do you handle recurring trust issues and feelings of jealousy, especially when kids are involved?”
