Trying to decide between using an Apple TV setup (Infuse / Omni / VidHub with RealDebrid) vs just running Stremio natively on an Android TV box like the Homatics Box R 4K.

Main thing I care about is speed and how seamless it feels day to day.

From what I understand:

• Apple TV requires using stuff like WebDAV and separate apps
• Stremio on Android TV is just one app with everything built in (addons + RD)

But at the same time Apple TV is supposed to have better performance and Infuse handles playback really well.

What I’m trying to figure out:

• Is Apple TV actually faster in real use or just better at playback quality?
• What do you lose compared to Stremio (UI, scraping speed, etc.)?
• Are there any actual issues using RealDebrid on Apple TV (slow WebDAV, syncing problems, etc.)?
• Is it just better to skip Apple TV entirely and go with something like a Homatics Box R for native Stremio?
