Visa advice
Hi everyone, my partner and I (both 30) are exploring visa options for Australia that would lead to PR and would just like some advice on what route to go down.
I am currently on mat leave with our 4 month old but I could complete my IBMS portfolio with work once I go back next year and then apply for a medical lab technician skilled visa however since having our baby I wouldn't be going back to work full time so this would take a lot longer. My partner is due to start and electrician course at the beginning of June so once he is qualified we could apply with his job role.
I guess I'm just wondering how soon after he qualifies do you reckon we could start applying for visas etc or would he need to do further education in Australia? He would be completing a level 2 and level 3 back to back.
Any advice would be appreciated we really want to make the move asap. We would be looking at Melbourne as this is where my brother, who is now a citizen, lives.
