I’ve had a 2015 Toyota Camry for a couple of months now, and it’s my first car. Since I got it, the tyre pressure readings have never shown up on the dashboard at all.
I recently took it to a mechanic, and they said one of the front tyre pressure sensors is faulty. What I’m unsure about is whether that diagnosis fully explains the issue. I forgot to ask him, shouldn’t the other tyres still display their pressure readings even if one sensor is bad? Or does a single faulty sensor prevent the entire TPMS system from showing any readings?
Also, do I need to replace just the faulty sensor, or is it better (or necessary) to replace all of them at once?Any advice or similar experiences would be really helpful.
