My(pregnant)wife and I were crossing the intersection between 4th and Clinton this evening - an intersection notorious for people who don’t stop for pedestrians. As we crossed, a car kept inching up on us and as he drove by he said, “I hope you get hit by a car you f——“ 🤷🏻♂️
If Mayor Emily or anybody monitors this Reddit community, I suggest putting more frequent police presence, especially that intersection it’s amazing people haven’t gotten hit there yet.
I’m about to be a dad and I know I may sound like old man yelling at clouds now that I’m in my 30s but public safety at intersections is definitely a concern and I’ve been living here for 10 years. But I expect better out of Hoboken and I’m sure we all do. Stay safe out there everyone, don’t engage with the crazies.
