Hello All

I completed my medical and sent my licence to the DVLA back in January 2026. Since then I have had very little info given by the DVLA. They have contacted my hospital and I have been told by the hospital that they had to bounce the DVLA request around the department.

I was wondering if anyone in this collective also had been diagnosed with sleep apnoea before getting their HGV.

The question I have is how long did it take from sending your licence off after your medical to receive your licence back so that you could move onto your theory test?

Would appreciate knowing what others may have experienced.
