I'm working with VR&E in Michigan. And what I'm experiencing is a lot of "vagueness" and lack of direction.

Michigan VR&E uses VetBiz Central to check for business plan viability. And it says that you go through a comprehensive analysis to approve your business plan.

I sent my working business plan to VetBiz, the guy spent less than 5 minutes looking it over and said it was good, and sent me a VA form for expenses.

I'm currently in what my councilor is saying is Phase 1. I sign a few forms to make it "official". But im not getting any direction here from anyone.

VetBiz is saying they dont have any authority its VR&E who signs off on stuff, and VR&E is saying they rely heavily on VetBiz to determine the viability of the business plan.

Im sitting here thinking this is either way too easy, or they are just pulling the wool over my eyes.

I cant determine if I am working with a good counselor or a bad one. Are they helping make the process incredibly easy or are they giving me the run around, but because no one seems to know anything about VR&E I have no way of knowing it?

I used my GIBill for my Bachelors, so i cant use VR&E for any further education (which is what VetBiz told me to do if i get tired of waiting). Now I'm asking for help to start the business with that degree. I am 100% P&T, have gone through VR&E before but she reopened my case saying that my current employment track is aggravating my SD.

I guess im just looking to see if anyone has a similar sense of "what the hell am i supposed to be doing here?", anyone who has used VR&E for a business start up what was the process like?
