I'm kinda concerned about my school's vce timeline and idk if it's different for other schools, all the content and actual learning for my classes finishes at the end of term 3 and then we go into study for the exams. I don't have my first math methods SAC until week 7 of this term and its on chapters 1-12. Do other schools also finish content at the end of term 3? Or is my school behind.
Sometimes I feel as if I lack proper critical thinking. I struggle to adapt plain knowledge to new situations, particularly in math and chemistry, such as being given a lengthy worded problem and struggling to apply the base concepts to solve it. I also feel like I'm sinking into a deep hole of AI use and that's just worsening my ability to think critically. How can I improve my critical thinking skills?
Im thinking about applying under the academic category of latrobe's aspire Early Entry program. I averaged around 82 on my SACs in year 11. Does anyone know what grades Latrobe looks for when accepting people?
I'm kinda stressed out, I'm aiming for a high 80's ATAR but I genuinely don't know if I'm able to do that. I'm doing math methods, chemistry, psychology, English and biology. I got a 64 in the first chem sac, 75 in the first bio sac, 82 in the first psych sac and 93 in the first English SAC. My careers advisor basically said that now I've dropped into the 60's on my chem sac I basically don't have a chance. Any thoughts??
