Q1) WHAT IS OCDB?
A1) OCDB is a series on the OriginalCharacterDB Subreddit that gives original characters the chance to fight each other in custom Death Battle episodes. Currently utilizing a simple document script format similar to fanon wiki scripts, it brings unique fan-made combatants to life. Since there are many OCDB type series alr this one is just u/Affectionate_Ride220 OCDB alt ig.
Q2) CAN MY OC JOIN?
A2) Since the series is already in production and producing a single episode is a slow process (that's all on me lol), having a dedicated episode for your OC depends on future specific request posts. If no slots open, I would still love to check out your OC in case of any sudden roster problems. What is highly possible is including your OC as a cameo extra in an episode! I hope that doesn't sound cheap, as it's the best I can do for now.

Vent:
Returning to this project for research, scripting, and graphics made me realize exactly why Death Battle has a whole ass team. Scripting is tough! Especially for me, first writing attempts were abhorrent bruh n I constantly tweaked fight choreographies since I was massively struggling to balance dialogue with action. After restarting to cut down on the yapping, I finally finished it. While I am still not 100% satisfied of the final fight script, I am thrilled to escape the endless work-in-progress loop. I hope you enjoy it, and I look forward to reading your comments! :)
