Hey friends, my husband has struggled with binge drinking his entire adult life. Now, at 40, he has been sober for almost 8 months. I'm so PROUD of him.
This weekend we went to our first concert since he's been sober. And he had trouble enjoying it. He feels like the alcohol dulled his senses and now he feels the weight of noise and crowds and stimulus. Anyone else experience this? Do we need to give up concerts or is there a way he can still enjoy them sober?
