I just redownloaded eu4 after not playing for a few months. I haven't had any serious performance issues in the past but now it takes about 3 or 4 seconds per day in 1444.

I haven't made any hardware changes and the game hasn't received any updates since the last time I played. Already tried reinstalling, verifying integrity, and deleting all my old save files.

Any idea whats going on?
