First time poster, long time reader on here! I just turned 35 in March and just did my first round of IVF. I have unexplained infertility, although I do have endometriosis & had it excised last year. I knew with low reserve (AMH .9) I wasn’t expecting a lot of eggs. I was hoping we’d get 5-6 based on my follicles this cycle but we only got 2. To my surprise, they both fertilized with ICSI & they were both growing well on day 5 and the clinic wanted to give them 1 more night since they were 1-2 stages behind. To my surprise again, 1 made it to day 6 & is off for genetic testing (PGT-A)! I know it only takes 1 so I’m truly hoping for the best this cycle!! I know we’ll have to do another cycle just to see if we can get 1 or 2 more embryos but I’m terrified mostly of my endo causing poor egg quality.
My first question/comment is just wanting a success story from someone who has endo and only had 1 embryo after a retrieval? Also, it’s been 4 days since Juno received my sample and they haven’t charged our card yet. I read that they’re usually pretty quick, but maybe I’m also just being impatient??? Lol
