In competitive/entrance exams like CUET, unlike Boards (either CBSE or State Board) a lot of consistency is required since the syllabus is vast. Apart from this, you will need to develop a suitable aptitude and temperament including good time management.

So, regarding Domains, do NCERT thoroughly (both concepts and additional sources - boxes) because Qs are asked from there. Practice Qs in a subjective approach and do PYQs analysis. It will help you get a good percentile in Domains. You can give a mock test. One more thing, in Domains your months of preparation will help you in your exam. So just study as effectively as you can.

The pattern has been changed since CUET 2025 and all Qs have become compulsory (i.e. choice removed) so the difficulty level has increased. So give your best.

Another advantage of extensive reading/studying Arts subjects is that you will become good at the general awareness section, a portion asked in GAT. (Take GAT only if you can manage it together with 3 Domains; 3 domains + Language are enough to get the desired course.) Let me give an example, it is mentioned in Political science of NIOS that 'Directive principles of state policies' were adopted from the Irish constitution. This was a Question asked in the GAT exam in CUET 2025. (Which could give 5 marks, enough to get ahead of other students)

To sum up, I would like to say that stay enthusiastic, remember your goal to stay motivated and be desperate. Yes you will have to be desperate to clear the desired exams. Keep this attitude: 'I will study the entire CBSE syllabus single handedly to get a decent score and success in academics'.
