I was diagnosed with endometriosis just this past sunday. I woke up with a pain I never felt before (screaming my lungs out and everything). I kept going the whole day because I thought it was a period more painful that the ones before. My dad sent me to my mom’s house in case everything went to hell and there was no one to help me. I didn’t for a couple hours, but ended up going anyways. I ate lunch and dinner, but when I tried to hug my nephew, the pain just became unbearable. I went to the ER and the doctors thought I had some kind of abortion, but when the tests came negative, they immediately did some test and throw me to the operation table.
Turns out an ovary ruptured and my uterus was full of liquid. Two days ago I came back home, but I can’t stomach eating anything. My mom made chicken soup yesterday, but today didn’t taste good to me. What were things you ate post op? I would love some advice.
