I have what may be an unpopular opinion and I’m interested on other local’s thoughts - Universal is better than Disney hands down. Obviously Disney will always be special, but after returning to being a UOAP holder after a few years as a Disney pass holder, I can’t help but notice the stark differences.
A few examples:
•Universal customer service is top tier. They will go out of their way to help with anything and everything. Any time I’ve been in a ride queue or on a ride that has been shut down I’m given an express pass to use on that ride or any other(with some exceptions)
•Regular old standby lanes. You either pay for express or you just enjoy the park without. No constantly checking your phone for lightning lane.
• RIDE QUEUES. The theming in universal’s queues is unmatched. So immersive. The lines at Disney are so boring compared to the ones at Universal!
•Just more accessible in general. It’s so much easier to get there and feels more doable for a partial day, which is often what we do as passholders.
EDIT TO ADD: Passholder perks!! Universal has so many little bonus things for passholders. Disney seems to kind of hate their passholders 😂
