Hi,

I want to attend a conference in Netherlands.
The available categories for Schengen visa are:

• Business
• Tourism
• Family and Friends Visit / EU / EEA family
• Others (Except Tourism and Family and Friends Visit / EU / EEA family)

It is difficult to get slots in the business category (which would have been ideal) but is easier to get one in the Others category.

Can I apply for going to a conference from the Other category in this case since it excludes only Tourism and Family and Friends Visit?
