First of all my car is literally dead. I have to rely on others for a ride to and from school and work. I’m constantly late to classes because I have an unreliable ride however my grandma doesn’t want to sell my car and get a new one because she wants to “hold the mechanics reliable” for the damage (quick background, I got hit and took it to a body shop to get it repaired and they possibly screwed up which fried the entire system) all we’re doing right now is just letting it sit in the yard while we wait for someone to diagnose it. I understand we put a lot of money into the car but just holding on to it doesn’t benefit me in any way. On a different note I have to pay for my classes soon and I don’t think I’ll be able to do that because I don’t have the funds. Not only does my job suck. I lose hours every time the weather sucks causing us to close early, or if something happens. For an example last weekend was crawfish a festival at work. I’m severely allergic to shellfish so I was unable to work. Then the weekend before that it stormed really badly and I only got 10 hours all weekend. We’re only open 3 days a week currently. Most of my paycheck goes to my credit card bill, and the fine I received from the car accident (I got the fine because I was driving without a license while driving to the dmv to take my drivers test) that’s just it. I don’t know what to do. I feel stuck. And honestly kinda hopeless.
