I have a 2-year-old kitten that’s had episodes that seem like asthma attacks since around 2-3 months.

I’ve been to several veterinarians, and each one told me something different: One said he has a longer epiglottis that blocks his airway, another said he had pneumonia, and another that it was an infection from when he was young and was left with after-effects. He was also mute for the first 7 months, no sound would come out but he got his voice back. He has the episodes once in a while, more frequent during winter time from what I’ve seen. Sometimes he gets them several days in a row and then doesn’t have any for 1-2 months.

The problem is that now, after two years, my 8-year-old cat has started having episodes extremely similar. I’m worried because she’s more sensitive, and I wouldn’t want anything to happen to her.

I’d be really thankful for any ideas on what they could have !
