Hey everyone,

I need some advice. I recently hired a "growth manager" from Bangladesh who offered to help grow my jazz music YouTube channel. I gave him access to manage the channel and he ended up sending artificial traffic from a click farm to one of my videos.

What I found in YouTube Analytics:

66% of traffic came from external sources

47% of that traffic came from com.buee.mutupipe (known click farm app)

Abnormally high CTR: 19%

The video got thousands of views in a very short time

What I've done so far:

Removed his access from YouTube and Facebook

Filed a report to YouTube with screenshots

Changed my passwords

My questions:

Is my channel at risk of being penalized or banned by YouTube?

Should I do anything else to protect my channel?

Has anyone experienced this before? How did YouTube react?

Is there any way to get these fake views removed from my stats?

I didn't ask for this traffic and I'm worried about the impact on my channel's credibility and monetization.
