Here's my very first app, accepted in first go, now need to work on distribution

I worked on a super niche app for the last 6 months. After submitting for review, I got the app accepted in the first go. Now a bit lost of what's next.

So far, this is what I have done.

  • Of course, first, tried to build the app as best as I could
  • Did some keyword research via aso cli (open source)
  • Updated the screenshots
  • Updated title/subtitle, and keywords based on ASO research

This is what I'm planning now

  • Thinking of doing some giveaways
  • Asking friends to download and leave some feedback/reviews
  • Thinking of Ads, mostly thinking on doing ads on App store

I know one of the way is to make short videos, but I am really hoping other ways work. I'm okay to take it slow, so there's no rush to have $x MMR or anything. Just want the app to grow.

The App

This app is about preparing new dads-to-be for their upcoming child. It sends reminders to the dads about their tasks for their partner and preparing for the baby. It has many other functions, i.e. Mom's weight racker, contraction timer, appointment manager, a custom task manager, a secure vault, a place for pregnancy safe recipe sharing, and a shop with essentials for pregnancy and for the upcoming baby.

After learning that we are pregnant for the first time, I wanted to know what should I do during this time to best prepare myself. Soon I realize I actually have very little idea of anything. That's the inception of this app. Initially thought I'll have some simple app just for myself - but over time, kept working on it, and thought this could be helpful to others as well.

Here's the app link: https://apps.apple.com/app/fatherhood-for-dads-to-be/id6757829360

Suggestion, feedback, review is much appreciated. If anyone is interested, please let me know, I can share some Free Premium subscription links. 🙏

Last night when we’re asleep, out of nowhere our fire alarm went off at 3 am. I and my pregnant wife both jumped up. I was in a state of shock in between half asleep and this extremely loud deafening noise.

So we ran out of bed room and start looking everywhere, if there is any fire, absolutely nothing. All 3 floors, every room, kitchen, nothing. And the in a minute the alarm is off by itself. What was that? We live in a new build townhouse, moved in about 8 months ago.

A side note: not sure if this can be related, but we just asked for a service on our whirlpool electric stove, it stopped working a couple of days ago. The last time before it broke, when we turned on we heard some spark type noise. Anyway, we don’t use it for now and waiting for the service.
