P+W, thoughts 2026?

I'm curious if anyone has any experience at P+W on here. I've been talking to some people there about a position and was curious if people have some Intel on actual working of the firm such as salary structure, general hours (any WFH split), project load and studio organization.

I'm at 11 years experience, working on licensure, have worked at some well known "Design" firms and been on some amazing projects but I'm currently a bit burned out after a few insane projects and looking for something new.

I also operate between architecture and urban design which is not all overly common but some integrated firms focus on this, which is of continued interest to me and a focus on my career as I do very well bridging between these disciplines.

Any and all information is helpful. Thanks!

3-5 day August trips (Montana/Wyoming or similar)

Hey all. Hoping to reach out for some advice for potential 3-5 day backpacking trips in August for (ideally) Montana or Wyoming but also open to areas nearby.

I'll be honest, my wife is an amazing planner when it comes to putting together trails and stringing campsites and we both have decent enough experience in the back country. She's done the PCT and I've gone along for several stretches and don't mind long days.

With that said, our plans changed and I'm wondering if there are any trips you guys would recommend for August? It looks like by now a ton of rec.gov campsites are all booked, which again came from a change of plans I'm coming late to the game. This would be for her birthday, so I don't think I can tap into her planning brain with this one.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
