Hello! fairly new skater here, I’ve been a poser for years so now that i’ve committed I’m advancing pretty fast. I have a cruiser board that I love so much and I’ve been riding it to work going super fast and loving it. Only thing is, my ankle on my pushing foot hurts so much the more I skateboard. The leg that stays on the skateboard, that knee is getting so swollen. I’ve been elevating and icing after skating but this is my biggest problem with skating and the only reason I have to get off. I wear gear+helment and even though I’ve had tumbles this pain just comes from skating. Do I just need to strengthen? Am I wearing the wrong shoes? Is my stance way off?
