Met with my surgeon last week, and he recommended an abdominoplasty with muscle repair, arm lift and I added inner thigh lipo onto that for one surgery. He said they will also do lipo on the flanks and I believe the mons pubis area. My biggest problem areas are my mons pubis and apron belly, as well as my arms. I initially requested a thigh lift too, but many surgeons do not seem to do those in my area and my surgeon said he does not because of the higher risk of infection and return of laxity resulting in lower satisfaction rates. He said they could do a 360 but he would prefer to do the front and back separate as he can get more loose skin this way. There was no specific mention of an FDL. I know also I likely wouldn’t be able to get a thigh lift same time as the tummy tuck and arm lift. My surgery is set for end of July. Consultations with other surgeons are a year away. I have been at this weight for a year now after a lot of weight loss. I have the funds to do multiple surgeries, but I obviously prefer one surgery and recovery. I want it done right too though. I feel all over the place. What do you think I need? My surgeon is very highly recommended in my area and people travel from all over to see him. This is so new to me. I worked hard for this body, and I want to do right by it too. Sorry for the word vomit. I’m feeling confused. All of your posts are so inspiring and also make me question my decisions too!
