I’ve been in the markets for 4 years. I started like most people—obsessing over news, lagging indicators, and external hype. I finally hit a breaking point and shifted 100% to price action.

I am strictly an intraday trader on the Nifty 50. I never carry positions overnight, which has been a massive mental relief. I don't have to worry about war breaking out or a sudden political post trashing my portfolio while I sleep. If it’s not on the live chart during market hours, it doesn't exist to me.

The results? Last financial year, my trading was almost flat. I was technically in the green, though commissions put me at -40k, but the consistency is night and day compared to before. My philosophy now: ignore the noise, watch the live tape, and wait for the strategy to print.

I still use VIX, Order Flow, and Volume Profile for context, but I’ve completely cut out "trading the headlines."

Is anyone else here a pure intraday PA trader? How has your performance (and stress level) changed since you stopped listening to the noise?
